As of August 14, Ambleside Animal Hospital will be permanently closing. This was a very difficult decision made after carefully reviewing the long-term needs of the practice and how we can best support the delivery of consistent, high-quality veterinary care. We are grateful for the trust you have placed in our team and for the opportunity to care for your pets over the years.
While this chapter is coming to a close, your pet's care remains our priority. Our colleagues at our sister clinics, All About Cats Veterinary Clinic and South Burnaby Veterinary Hospital, are ready to welcome you and your pets and will continue to provide the care, support, and service you expect. What You Need to Know
Medical Records
Your pet’s medical records will be securely transferred to All About Cats (cats only), and South Burnaby Veterinary Hospital. If you would like to transfer your pet’s files to another veterinary practice, please contact our team before August 14, or the teams at All About Cats and/or Burnaby Veterinary Hospital after August 14.
Medications and Food Orders
Prescription refills can be placed through Ambleside Animal Hospital until Thursday, August 6. After that date, please contact South Burnaby or All About Cats directly for future orders.
Online Store
For clients that have been placing orders through our online store, we will change your “home” veterinary practice on MyVetStore to South Burnaby Animal Hospital on August 14. If you have auto-orders with home delivery set up, they will continue as normal with no action needed on your end. If you would like your account moved to a different veterinary practice, please contact help@myvetstore.ca.

You are welcome to call either South Burnaby Animal Hospital or All About Cats to directly book your pet’s next appointment.
